Premmie sized Santa Hat

Smaller sized hook and thinner yarn will make a smaller sized hat.
For this one I used a size G or 4 mm  hook and 8 ply yarn.
US stitches are used throughout this pattern.
++ A small amount of stuffing may be used to stuff the white part at the top of the hat.
Abbreviations:
CH = chain
SC = single crochet
INC = increase ( 2 x SC in same stitch)
DEC = decrease (insert hook in first stitch, draw up a loop, insert hook in second stitch, draw up a loop, yarn over and draw yarn through all 3 loops on hook)
DC = double crochet
SK = skip
** = repeat

Starting with white
Ch 2 or magic ring
